Welcome to Tribe Parking. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we handle it. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights when using the Tribe Parking mobile application.

By using the Tribe Parking app, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Tribe Parking is operated by Tribe Parking, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). This policy applies to the Tribe Parking mobile application and any related services we provide.

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve our parking management services:

We use the information we collect strictly to operate and improve the Tribe Parking application. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Provide core app features — manage your vehicles, save and retrieve parking locations, and display your parking history.
• Authenticate your account — enable secure sign-in via Google or Apple and maintain your session.
• Personalize your experience — remember your preferred vehicles and settings across sessions.
• Improve the app — analyze usage patterns, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs to make the app better.
• Communicate with you — send important service notices, security alerts, or policy updates.
• Comply with legal obligations — fulfill our obligations under applicable law.

We do not use your data for advertising purposes, nor do we sell your personal information to third parties.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted third-party vendors (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting) that process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Safety — to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tribe Parking, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where we will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Tribe Parking offers sign-in via Google and Apple for your convenience and security. When you use these options:

• Google Sign-In — We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, Gmail, Drive, or any other Google services. Your Google credentials are managed entirely by Google and are never stored by us.
• Sign in with Apple — We receive a verified email address (or Apple's private relay email if you choose to hide it), and your name if you consent to share it. Apple does not share your Apple ID password or payment information with us.

Your use of Google and Apple sign-in is also subject to their respective privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.

Tribe Parking uses your device's location to help you record where you've parked your vehicle. Here's how we handle it:

• Permission required — We only access your location when you explicitly grant permission through your device's OS settings.
• When it's used — Location is accessed when you actively log a parking spot. We do not track your location continuously or in the background.
• What's stored — The GPS coordinates of logged parking locations are stored and linked to your vehicle and parking record.
• Revocation — You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Doing so will disable automatic location tagging for parking spots.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specifically:

• Account data — Retained for the lifetime of your account.
• Vehicle and parking data — Retained until you delete the record or close your account.
• Usage and diagnostic data — Typically retained for up to 12 months for analytics and debugging purposes.
• Deleted accounts — When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction

Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Deletion

Request deletion of your personal data and account.

Portability

Receive your data in a machine-readable format.

Opt-out

Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Restriction

Request we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@tribeparking.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including:

• Data encryption in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• Encrypted storage of sensitive data at rest
• Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
• Regular security reviews of our systems and practices

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Tribe Parking is not directed at children under the age of 13, or 16 where applicable under local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@tribeparking.com and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via a push notification or an in-app message prior to the changes taking effect, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Tribe Parking after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
